Italy

Wow. My first time in Italy was beyond any of my expectations. I loved every minute of my trip to Italy and can’t wait to go back to explore more. I was in Italy for 10 days, 7 of which were solo! I think you need at least 6 months to explore all of Italy! Here are the places I went and some of my recommendations.

Milan: Piz Milano (budget friendly pizza). Caffè Dante for gelato (they give you a show and definitely Instagram worthy). Mascherpa Tiramisù (loved!!!). Osteria Serafina.
Cinque Terre: Torre Aurora (great view!). La Regina di Manarola. Nessun Dorma (pesto making class). Gelateria Manarola. Fish & Chill boat tour. Il Frantoio. Trattoria dal Billy.
Rome: Ponza Island (booked this tour: xx), Gelalteria Dei Gracchi, Osteria fa Fortunata, Giolitti,
Sorrento: Gelateria David, Raki Gelato, La Cantinaccia Sorrento, Tirabuscio Pizza Making Class (this is a MUST!) - add my own Viator link to this.
Capri: Da Luigi ai Faraglioni beach club, xx for icecream (this is where you watch them make the icecream cones from scratch).

Airbnbs & Hotels:

Milan: Hotel Principe Di Savoia was walkable to everything in Milan. There were also plenty of Ubers and Taxi’s to take if public transportation isn’t your thing. Good location, bougee hotel.

Cinque Terre: Nonno Dante was the best Airbnb and it was in an AMAZING location. Walkable to the train station to get to each town. Modern apartment that felt super safe. Only negative was there was construction which was loud on the weekdays, but if you are out and about you won’t hear it much anyways.

Rome: I stayed at Soho House in Rome. I LOVED this hotel stay! One of my favorites of the entire trip.

Sorrento: Grand Hotel Royal was a BEAUTIFUL hotel. Great beach chairs and good location.
